Jaci Hugg has always been an advocate for the people. A lifelong Delawarean, Jaci has 15 years of state government experience and currently works as legislative assistant to Senator Bruce C. Ennis, assisting him with constituent work and contributing to the legislative process.
Jaci understands the struggles that people have in their daily life. In her lifetime she has worked many jobs, starting at the age of 15 with a job at McDonalds. She has seen many different work environments, including offices, car dealerships, nursing homes, retail stores, and many more. These experiences have benefited her, as she understands the struggles of life that affect Delawareans every day, including living paycheck to paycheck, struggling with bills, watching loved ones suffer, and finding ways to make ends meet.
Jaci has lived in the 15th Senatorial District for most of her life. She grew up just outside of Clayton surrounded by farm fields and is a graduate of Smyrna High School. She has been married to her husband, David, for more than 20 years. She is the mother of two children and grandmother to two granddaughters. Her children grew up in the 15th District and much of her family still resides there today.
Jaci has served on the Smyrna Opera House board for six years. She chaired the group’s leading fundraising event for six years and served on the committee for the event for 12 years.
All of these experiences have given her valuable life experience which, with your support, she will bring to the job of serving as your State Senator.
